What Dick Roland likes about Acquavite Italiano:
This relative La Jolla newbie is trying to attract clientele by offering delicious and well-presented home made pastas and other authentic Italian dishes in the quiet and relaxed space, including some ocean views from the enclosed patio, that was previously occupied by Trattoria Acqua. Portions are generous and both food and wine are priced rather moderately for the area and quality. Likely to become our go-to place... View all feedback.

What Daniel doesn't like about Acquavite Italiano:
The layout of the restaurant is strange and we felt it lacked ambience. The service was slow and when our dinner was served it did not arrive at the same time. Whilst the food was nice I would not recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.

New authentic Italian. Owner chef is from Italy. Owned by couple living locally. Beautiful setting, wonderful view, excellent food. Great wines!!

"The ladies at Rose Donuts will impress you with their delicious donuts and stellar customer service. I love this place. I had a temporary work gig in mission valley and during that time I would often stop by Rose's in the morning for some coffee and a raspberry donut. One of the ladies got to know me and once she saw me in line, she would start to grab what I wanted while I waited in line- raspberry donut, coffee and just the right amount of creamer. Every so often I would change it up and get something different. What was really nice was that they had such a wide variety of options beyond donuts. Their bagel choices were so delicious as well as their muffins. The donuts were great but what I really loved was the genuine sense of pride and friendliness. They always said Hi and had a friendly smile. I no longer work in the area but the next time Im down there I'll probably stop in. This is a true mom/pop type business. Those ladies are in there EARLY making fresh donuts and living the life. If you're going to support a local business this is a great shop that deserves your patronage."
