"Booked the lunch package that included a boat cruise to/from Lakes Entrance, wine tasting, cheese platter and main course. I would highly recommend this package, which is booked directly through the winery’s website, and not Peels cruises. We had a very informative commentary on the boat, saw a group of rare lake dolphins swimming in the lake, saw seals sunning themselves on the rocks near the entrance, and various bird life. The winery is in a pretty bush setting, and we were seated out on the balcony overlooking trees. The wine tasting included a range of white, rose, moscato, reds and fortified wines, and the lunch itself was delicious. A great way to experience the combination of the lake, some nature, and great food and wine."

"In lakes entrance I drove to siri to navigate to the best fish chips, and here I am at the end. the first thing I noticed is that the place does not smell like a fat kidnapping. menu is everything they would expect. fish was well cooked and chips were great. well seasoned and weedic acid sauce was great. very impressed."

"We are Lakes Entrance Locals, and if we want to have a meal out, we go to Nick's. There were 6 of us tonight, all ordering different dishes, and all very happy with our meals. Service is always excellent. The place was almost full tonight, so recommend that you book ahead, especially in holiday times. Nick's is a great place to go. Check it out when you are in Lakes next."

"We visited this place for lunch, mixed messages re booking, we read the reviews, more negative than positive, but having been here on a few occasions in the past we thought we'd give it a go. Scallops as entrees, were fantastic, we ordered the Greek...seafood platter, waited in anticipation, we were thrilled with the quality of food we got. Dessert was good, pricing good. The only down side was service, alertness, staff just not switched on, we were wanting dessert and cocktails and I think staff thought we were done. Food was great within this tired old girl"
