"Booked the lunch package that included a boat cruise to/from Lakes Entrance, wine tasting, cheese platter and main course. I would highly recommend this package, which is booked directly through the winery’s website, and not Peels cruises. We had a very informative commentary on the boat, saw a group of rare lake dolphins swimming in the lake, saw seals sunning themselves on the rocks near the entrance, and various bird life. The winery is in a pretty bush setting, and we were seated out on the balcony overlooking trees. The wine tasting included a range of white, rose, moscato, reds and fortified wines, and the lunch itself was delicious. A great way to experience the combination of the lake, some nature, and great food and wine."

"I spent one week in Lakes Entrance and tried coffee at almost all the available cafes. The coffee at Salty Groms is the best, by a long way. It’s got flavour and strength, without being bitter. And it’s not too milky. The staff are friendly too."

"Got an overcooked chicken parma with barely any cheese and sauce, found the staff to be oblivious and arrogant even though it wasn't too busy of a night for them. I wouldn't come back here for a meal even if i was a local. Total disappointment"

"Table service was an epic wait (nearly 1 hour), very expensive and the seafood platter we ordered was minus the crab which they neglected to inform us they were out of. Very disappointed and won't be going back."
