"We were in Scotland for 3 weeks and hands down this was the BEST restaurant of our trip. Three people ran the place (I believe all family members) and did a fabulous job. They had lazagna on the menu and I thought 'lazagna on Arran?..."

"This is food with a bit of theatre thrown in. The cooking skills were absolutely incredible, presentation of the food was a delight! Choose the Rainbow Trout for taste and theatre. The Short Rib Beef Fingers are so tender that you don’t need your knife to cut it and not forgetting the Mac and Black, absolutely delicious macaroni make with black pudding and Arran cheddar cheese. You would be crazy to miss out!"

"Really lovely place to eat. You do need to book, but it is so worth it.. The restaurant is small has no licence, but we took a bottle of wine there was no corkage charge. They cater for Vegetarians the menu changes daily.. Really beautiful atmosphere gorgeous food.. so worth a visit..."

"What a stunning family restaurant with a bring your own bottle policy. Being located at one of the more rural parts of the island shouldn't put you off visiting. Being right on the seaside makes it one of the best for views. The menu changes every few weeks and they use mostly local ingredients. Get yourself over for some great food that you can tell is made with love and care. Service: Dine in"
