"We were in Scotland for 3 weeks and hands down this was the BEST restaurant of our trip. Three people ran the place (I believe all family members) and did a fabulous job. They had lazagna on the menu and I thought 'lazagna on Arran?..."

"Really lovely place to eat. You do need to book, but it is so worth it.. The restaurant is small has no licence, but we took a bottle of wine there was no corkage charge. They cater for Vegetarians the menu changes daily.. Really beautiful atmosphere gorgeous food.. so worth a visit..."

"We had a great meal in this excellent restaurant. They serve what they call 'Scottish Tapas ', letting you try lots of different dishes with a Scottish slant. There are Meat, Fish and Vegetarian options with lots of side dishes and all of the ones we chose were delicious. And the waiting staff were helpful, efficient and charming. Would go again at the drop of a hat."

"Delish lunch time stop. Waiting for the bus back to Brodick, we decided to grab a quick bite to eat. Popped in to see some amazing looking pastries and tantalising sandwiches, we got Salmon, dill pickle sourdough sandwich, a tomato, mozzarella and pesto and a sausage roll. All delightful! Although a bit pricey, fully worth it!"

"Visited the cafe as it was clearly advertised as dog-friendly and from the other listings in Brodick seemed like the best place to get a snack lunch. Fairly priced, plenty to choose from, and we were seated fairly quickly given it was very busy. Had a coronation chicken panini which was nice enough but felt it was missing something and could've been hotter. Despite that, would happily recommend and go back there again."

"Ideal place to stop for a bite to eat or a meal. The food and service was fantastic from start to finish. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating options, on our visit inside the restaurant there were two couples and outside there were cyclists and people with dogs. We were accommodated on this occasion when we stopped as we had no prior planning on this location. On arrival we noticed the reserved plaque on tables, so if you are planning to pass this fab restaurant and want to make sure there is a table available you can book ahead. Salmon mashed potatoes peas and steak sandwich with fries pepper sauce were beautifully prepared and reasonably priced. Well worth stopping by! Parking: New bridge built so traffic lights and fencing at this location (July 23) so limited parking beside the refuge bins (4 to 5 cars) roadside parking is possible."
