Gotta say that this little pub has tons of charm as soon as you enter the spaceThe staff are genuinely welcoming and attentive.

I never ever had such flat beer in my life been here twice and there's no F in difference _Fix your beer you lazy mo fos

Tried again one weekday evening and was met with same strange subdued atmosphere as first visit.

This is a pub and pub food.Can be loud, but the food is just average.The decore is Tv's everywhere and a pool table and some boths and tables.Not very cozy but...

I'm a regular, it's within walking distance of my home. Love..and I mean LOVE the live music. Free every Wednesday evening - local artists - open mics- acoustic...

"Ordered a takoyaki for to go. On the menu it says 5 pieces, but I only got 4. They told me the menu is wrong. Then really recommend to change the menu or remind the costumers before they order, not after they found out and asked"

"I went in to order a couple of pizzas but as I was standing there waiting I saw a number of flies walking on the different toppings behind the counter, the front door was propped open and it was a hot day. I'm sure this was a big reason why there was an abundance of flies around the prepping area and walking on the toppings. I sent an email to their customer service about it but never got a response. Two weeks later I drove into the parking lot and to my surprise the front doors were still propped open. I won't be buying any more pizzas at MOD pizza, too bad because they had a nice gluten free pizza for those with celiac disease."

"Having high tea at the Empress is an occasion rather than a meal. The decor, atmosphere and service are excellent. This is an experience to remember. The attention to detail is remarkable. The serving staff are perfect. For the food, we were given each: one scone with jam and/or clotted cream, 4 finger sandwiches plus a mini quiche, and an assortment of exquisite little desserts, from macaron to a confection of chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, nougat and chocolate shell. The tea is excellent as well. I'm not a huge tea drinker, but I drank several cups of tea with no sweetener. It was delicious. If you visit Victoria, you have to have tea at the Empress. The view is terrific as well."

"We have been customers since it opened, but since the owners have not been in charge of customer service, rudeness has crept in- for instance, on our last visit a staff member openly complained about having to open the chiller to sell us some cake near the close of business! Unbelievable attitude! Then we were charged $5 for a piece of cake! there is no price list for cake or baked goods which is unacceptable. Very disappointing!"
