"This was the second time we had indulged ourselves in the takeaway service from Tapenades, the first being my husbands birthday in December and of course Valentines Day. Yes, its lovely to go out for a meal but this really is the next best thing, quality and value for money are certainly not compromised and the food, simply gorgeous. If you have never enjoyed the fayre at Tapenades either eating in or the takeaway, then you really are missing out on a gastronomic treat. Thank you Mike Sue, we are already looking forward to our next meal."

"Absolutely awful food and extortionately priced to boot. Not at all welcoming, we were ignored. Very limited menu, mainly consisting of what seemed to be microwaved and fried food. Sauce bottles haven't been cleaned in a very long time elderly looking sauce was congealed under the bottle top, so I dread to think what the kitchen is like. Our disabled son was told by the waitress to get his own drink from the fridge. Toilets are disgusting. We won't be back."

"Disappointed. I thought this was the best in Tavistock. Ordered recently but all dishes were too sweet. Even the kids complained their korma was very sweet. Dishes were very watery, not the thick sauces. Naan was coconut instead of garlic and very sweet. Waited 45 mins. Very disappointing. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner"

"I married here on 20/10/17, the staff went beyond and beyond any expectation. many thanks for their ease, geduld and make my day perfect! the food is the best I've ever eaten, the grounds are beautiful, rooms beautiful and his dog friendly! they will not visit this beautiful gem, I can wait to go back! x"
