"I came to Salers pretty late for lunch. tired and hungry. Les Templiers was the first restaurant I came from the parking lot, and since the hour was good after lunch and the outdoor tables looked quite inviting, I did not hesitate and asked...if they would join me. After some consultations with the kitchen I was admitted and while I was obviously the last diner, I was not rushed and left a peaceful lunch. This made me assign the fourth circle of evaluation, while the food itself deserves no more than three. I had filled the local specialty of cabbage, which was a very generous help and quite edible, despite the obvious fact that it was once too often heated. For the desert I had a coup colonel with decent lemon ice cream and a generous shot of vodka. All in all a pleasant, if not spectacular. Lunch."

"Nous souhaitions manger dans un restaurant qui proposait des plats typiquement auvergnats et avons été comblés. Le repas excellent et le service sans reproche et vraiment très agréable. La vue de la terrasse est très jolie. La viande que j'avais demandée "bleue" est arrivée exactement comme je la souhaitais, ce qui malheureusement est trop peu souvent le cas. Le vin rouge sort d'une cave où il est maintenu à la bonne température. Par 30° à l'extérieur c'est essentiel, mais encore une fois trop peu souvent le cas dans beaucoup de restaurant. Le fromage, auvergnat lui aussi, était également très bon.Donc rien à dire. Allez y. Cela vaut le coup. Et en plus les prix sont tout à fait corrects !Je recommande absolument !"
