"Food was delicious, portioned well and came out quick Tender meat and full of flavour. Recommend the tandoori mixed grill (lamb was so tender) and the chicken rezza (requested spicy) was out of this world. Rivals any curry house we’ve tried in Mcr. Family friendly, the gentleman serving us took the kids to meet ‘the chef’ and they came out with a lolly. Great experience, well recommended."

"I moved to Shropshire in 2021 and think this is the best meal I've had since that move. Simply superb food and we will be back. Great friendly pub with a great atmosphere, every table taken on a Monday night, friendly and helpful and attentive staff and every dish that was served to the three of our family looked superb and tasted great. Scallops cooked properly, Halimi ditto. Duck main course wouldn't have looked out of place in a white tablecloth restaurant. And the prices seemed so reasonable. Main courses between £15 and £27 for a steak. You can choose a number of the mains as smaller portions. The highlight of my own meal was the almond and lemon tart, warm with crushed meringue, lemon cured and lemon ice cream. It was simply wow. I'd drive a long way for that dessert. A great surprise and caused us a real challenge as we are staying locally for 2 nights and have another pub booked for tomorrow night...the challenge whether to cancel it and go here for a second night or try somewhere else. Refreshing to see food prepared so well and such good value for money. I couldn't fault it. Highly recommended. Hope the review is helpful to folks. Stuart"
