"Stopped here on spec while travelling through. Needed a dine in place that was open early evening. Fabian’s had the best reviews, and enough menu variation to suit us. It was indeed splendid, a friendly welcome, we had super tasty curries with loads of chicken, rice , chips the best garlic naan I’ve had in ages, and a delicious cheesecake . I would 100% recommend visiting and we won’t need to google the next time we’re in Llandrindod. Service: Dine in"

"Nice caffe and delicious food. I was at all the special events they have done and cannot recommend enough. the barbecue night they held over the bank holiday was amazing. perfect eating and beautiful atmosphere eating on the balcony. the best place to eat for miles!"

"Visited twice during our stay in Rhayader. So busy for a small place, but I can see why! Food was amazing and staff were very friendly. Locally sourced produce too! Recommend pre-booking if having a meal."

"Have ate here a few times and had a drink. The grounds are beautiful but the hotel started to look tired and the food ok but a bit overpriced however since being taken over by new owners a year or so ago they have really...poured their heart into it. The decor is beautiful, elegant and yet cosy. This is in the restaurant and communal areas as we only eat here as stay at the cabins over the bridge. We went Wednesday evening and the food was so tasty and delicious. We also were lucky to get off so very good value. This hotel has really upped its game and would definitely recommend"
