This little place is owned by a South African which made this visit extra special. It is extremely close to the Madonna del Sasso church and well worth a visit....

"Recommended by our hotel this Osteria serves good local food in a pleasant though not picturesque setting. It is a family owned establishment with Mama doing the cooking on the evening of our visit. There was a good range of dishes, including local speciailities and a sizeable and good wine list. It is difficult to find (do not rely on the map on the business card issued to the hotels) but if you stick as close as possible to the lake side of the railway you should find it easily enough."
