We visted this restaurant for an anniversary dinner and left very satisfied with the level of service and food. The starter with squid was superb and unique. Mains we got a duck main and sea bream main. Both were very good but sea bream was better. Desserts Cheesecake and chocolate lava cake. Both excellent . The cheesecake was unusual but very tasty. Highly recommended. View all feedback.
Great food. contempt, but not above the top. the sift shell is amazing.
Previous fishook equals management but now with a wider menu. the same large cook and excellent weekend lunch. in any case worth a visit.
After working as a sous chef at La Trompette and gaining experience with chefs like Stephen Terry and Bruce Poole, Michael Nadra opened his first solo restaurant called Fish Hoek (later renamed Fish Hook) in Chiswick in 2005. In 2010, he expanded his menu to include both meat and fish dishes.
Who is Michael Nadra? That was my initial question when I first heard about this restaurant. Despite keeping a relatively low profile, Nadra has been cooking in his restaurant for five years. The Fish Hook, opened by Nadra in 2005, holds a special place in my heart for its delicious cuisine.
Charming small dining area with delicious seafood. The selection of wines at affordable prices complement the meal perfectly. The tables nestled in the window alcoves are cozy and inviting.
