What Tisha Alexander doesn't like about Food Basics:
Its okay. There's better stores in London to shop at. Produce was quite disgusting when I went there, fruit were moldy, bananas over Ripe, fruit flies all over the produce. Shelves pretty bare (for some reason they don't restock during the day... which I don't understand as all grocery stores do it). "Fantastic gem. We stopped in here on our way back from Detroit. The owner served us, and was very down to Earth. Not to mention the food was great. You could tell he was passionate about his food. Update: It's now under new management, but they have tried to keep it the same as before. They even respected the prices which is appreciated. I think they now put a little more donair meat too, which is an added bonus."
