"Fantastic gem. We stopped in here on our way back from Detroit. The owner served us, and was very down to Earth. Not to mention the food was great. You could tell he was passionate about his food. Update: It's now under new management, but they have tried to keep it the same as before. They even respected the prices which is appreciated. I think they now put a little more donair meat too, which is an added bonus."

"I only have the ?Doubles? photo here. But this one hit the spot! Good amount of spices and mango chutney. Would love to see more shredded cucumber and a little more salt. "Jack Astors has always been my favourite place to dine. My parents even come down from Sarnia to enjoy the food. We went last night for dinner....to our utter disappointment, they removed the Thai Sesame Chicken Stir fry bowl from their menu....this is what my parents and I get every time we go there! Not a good decision at all.....I'm told its the most popular bowl!! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!I ordered a chicken club instead....was very disappointed...I won't order that again. I felt it was just thrown together, with no care at all, sloppy appearance, and mediocre taste.I will still go there because of the atmosphere, but without my favourite meal, it will be alot less :"
