What Mckenzie Boyer doesn't like about El Mundo:
I was here a few times, it's sweet and in a good position, but I've never been impressed by eating. it is surprisingly lacking vegan options, not really something different from other Mexican or tex mex restaurants, it is simply trendier. View all feedback. What Ben Boyett likes about El Mundo:
We got queso and salsa to start with. Both were okay but not exceptional. For our entrees we got the chili relleno and the green chili enchiladas. Once again, both were good, but nothing that would draw me back again. I would go back, but it's pretty far down my list of favorite restaurants in town. View all feedback.

read moreEl Mundo is a trendy Mexican restaurant located in Louisville, offering a unique and cozy dining experience. While lacking in vegan options, the restaurant staff is friendly and attentive, striving to accommodate all dietary preferences. The menu includes flavorful options such as enchiladas, burritos, and mussels, with standouts being the carnitas and margaritas. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing, with outdoor seating available for warmer days. The salsa and queso are good but not exceptional, while the fish tacos and chili rellenos receive mixed reviews. Overall, El Mundo is praised for its authentic Mexican cuisine, great margaritas, and healthy, locally-sourced ingredients. Be sure to check out their vegan options and seasonal specialties when visiting this beloved Louisville restaurant.
