Went to order a pizza via the phone-they wouldn't answer the phone. Drove down to where they were parked, there was a massive line of waiting people. I asked a lady who was waiting, what the wait time was. She had been waiting 40mins. Asked the guy behind the counter if we could order a pizza, and he tells me no, that they have run out of pizza bases. read more.

"I just fancied some fish and chips so after looking up various sites I decided this place was the real goods. Parking outside was plentiful and the place was also easy to find.On entering I thought it doesn't look anything like the photo in trip advisor, in fact it was a bit shabby, I thought it didn't really matter as the food could be quite good.Service was quite quick. The cooking/frying was hidden away by some board that was erected to block out any sight of that which I thought was a bit odd.A mammoth amount of paper was used to wrap my feast which I thought was a bit old fashioned and over the top.Now the opening of my parcel brought out the wonderful smell that I so enjoy, on trying a few chips first I could only describe them as very average no where near the previous descriptions I have read. Next was the fish which was a battered red emperor, the batter was extremely oily, I tossed it out of the window of my parked car for the birds to eat, so as to the claim to be the best fish and chips in Mackay at $14.50 I would suggest trying somewhere else."
