"The Dancing Goat has it all figured out. Great food. Lots of healthy and well, not so healthy options but all delicious. The only criticism one could make is sometimes it is so very busy you don't have time to stay but that just speaks to what a great place it is! Highly recommended. I drove all the way from Sydney to Margaree for lunch because I wanted the best egg salad sandwich in the world!"

"My husband and I stumbled on this place accidentally while on our trip and since finding this gem we ate there 4 days in a row! We tried a variety of food here and everything was beyond perfect. Everything is 100% fresh, flavors are mouth watering spot on, and food is made with love! Over the course of the 4 days we tried 3 types of sandwiches (all made to perfection) the breakfast sandwich (simply incredible - the bread is made in house and like no other we have ever had) , soup ( I wanted to lick the bowl it was so good,) salad (so fresh, simply and delicious,) London fog (yummmyyy) and of course we had the lemonade everyday - made fresh and deliciously refreshing! We went out of our way on 2 occasions just to eat here and so well worth it. Thanks to the staff for such a great place !"

"While on a trip through the Margaree area to see the beautiful fall foliage, my wife and I stopped at the Big Intervale Fishing Lodge. We were a touch lost and looking for directions to Cape Clear, a local look off(google it, it's worth checking out! in that area of Cape Breton. The lodge is in one of the most beautiful setting on the island with the Northeast branch of the Margaree River across the road, mountains all around and a view of a waterfall right out the front door! I felt as if we'd stepped onto the page of a calendar. We did not eat or take a room or cabin at the lodge but I wanted to mention that the lady who greeted us, named Ruth, was an absolutely lovely person to speak with. She advised us that it was quite late in the day to find Cape Clear for it would be dark soon. She did, however, use one of their pamphlets which has a map of the area on it to draw out the route. So, next fall, we'll be ready find the place we didn't on that day but still had a lovely drive and met some very nice people. Though we were not guest or diners, Ruth took the time to greet us and make us feel welcome. She helped us with directions and advise about the area. She displayed the utmost kindness towards us and was more than happy to help us out. Thank you very much, I wish you much success for many more seasons. Perhaps we need to unwind at your lovely location with it's river and waterfalls."

"We reached out to Tim Rhonda from Stand and Stuff your Face as a possibility to cater our wedding on June 25, 2022. They were so flexible and easy to work with, even being able to cater to our gluten free and vegan attendants with slight accommodations to the meals. We went with a limited menu selection and got to choose four delicious menu items with a side. The guests could not get over how FAST and DELICIOUS the food was; most haven’t tried Stand and Stuff before last night. The portions were plentyfull, the service was fast and efficient, and it was the talk of the night over how delicious the food was from all the guests. Everyone who we told beforehand that we were getting Stand and Stuff to cater our wedding was super interested and excited about it, since food trucks aren’t traditional wedding supper options, but Stand and Stuff is certainly changing the standard on that! We can’t recommend them enough as a wedding caterer for both service and quality! Thank you Tim Rhonda!"

"Served delicious food and was able to accommodate my Celiac diet with no issues. Lodge and cabins were rustic but quite comfortable. Loved having the highland cattle, horses and donkey around. They had a nightly musician who played multiple instruments and taught at least one Gaelic song each night. Also have barn dances every Wednesday. Having Ashley McIsaac in August of this year for any who are fans."

"The extended family went here to gather after a funeral for a family dinner. The facility was beautiful. The staff could not have been more accommodating to our large group. The food was exceptional! Everyone ordered different things from the menu and all were very pleased with their orders. I would really recommend this place to anyone."

"A group of us went for breakfast and it took us 40 minutes to receive it and when we got it, most of us had cold food, and we had cold tea. However, our server was great."

"We stopped by to cook some seafood for a seafood and decided to snuggle on 5 lbs too. the muddles smell so bad when I opened the bath, I checked the label and they were harvested on 8th august and on 22nd we bought it on 24th. not to mention that they were local and that the day Newfoundland said. we know better about ns when it comes to seafood. the poor tourist that would have been upset. Too bad for you."
