"Food is always great, busy in evening time. Lunch time is best as the portions are perfect size and cheap for the quality and flavor, and not too busy. The Gumbo and etouffee dark bases are deep flavorful and amazing. The Cajun pasta is heafty amount and the sweet cornbread goes perfect along with it. The appetizer rolls are great too, just take it easy on them as you won’t have enough room to finish the dinners. Steaks are always cooked exactly as you ask and the loaded baked potatoes are fire as well. The Drinks are not watered down and are better than bottled and they are kept full, service is good. I’ve never sent any food back yet. Always a great experience when we go. This is the best place to eat in McAlester."

"We were given some of the best customer service that I have had in years! I cannot impart enough how impressed I am with this establishment. The fact that this little family joint is a labor of love is evident from the time you walk in the door. Not only was the atmosphere and customer service wonderful but our food was stellar!! I ordered the al pastor street tacos. I've had many a taco over the years, from food trucks to swanky hipster spots. These al pastor tacos were the best I've ever eaten. Kid-friendliness: If you have small children, I'm just going to say this; they love kids here. You will be very welcomed with your family"
