lake very well against the restaurant you should not take people for milk cows coffees diabolo strawe c is the flight. very unpleasant waitress saw us but didn't come to take our order, we had to go order at the bar and the pumpoon was that we didn't even take the order on the terrace we had to do the service ourselves. the lake is very beautiful, beautiful natural green space with a few horses in nearby meadows, all hidden by a huge car park. space should be reserved for pedestrians. Attention, children's games (trampoline, archery, .. only accept cash, no cb! concerning the lake buvette, the waitress was pleasant but selling a blueberry pie or raspberry so-called house is a scandal! Good restaurant on the slopes on the banks of Lake Javen. Well-oriented terrace. Ideal for a lunch break.
Snack meal taken at the cabin on the deckchairs, good value for money with good humor and efficiency to boot
Go to the little cottage, The welcome is great, they serve the best hot dogs and paninis in Haute Savoie. For a very fair price. I highly recommend.
Cheerful service, a warm welcome by a young woman we believe is called Salomé, she was efficient, and the food was quick to come. We sat in the sun watching skiers come down and walkers take their dogs uphill. A very nice setting, somewhat away from the busy crossroads and big lifts of the ski resort.
A perfectly pleasant stop for coffee/hot chocolate was spoiled by over-officious waiting staff. As soon as the drinks were delivered the price was announced (no printed bill to reassure us that we'd interpreted the French correctly). My husband's cup was snatched away before he had finished his drink, and only reluctantly returned. Then, when the rest of us had gone to the loo, he was challenged to order something, though he was clearly waiting for us to return.
