"Passion Como is the best food in the Lake Como area. Period. Forget the pizza and the pasta and the tiramisus. Get yourself a sandwich in Passion Como and I guarantee you it's the only thing you'll want to eat for your stay in the town. Putting how amazing the taste was aside for a second, just sit yourself down on the bench outside the store and you'll really see what community is about, with the local shopkeepers all conversing, locals stopping to talk to the friendly, vibrant owners. This is the place you had in mind when you said you wanted to eat real Italian food, because you get to understand the kind of heart and loving people behind it just a little tiny bit.
