What Sol Arizona doesn't like about Sekai Sushi:
Ramen and tempura were awful. Tempura was undercooked. Ramen tasted disgusting. This should not be called ramen. This place is huge insult to Japanese food.Food: 1/5 View all feedback.
Unfortunately, getting takeout from this restaurant is just bad. We got sushi, no chopsticks? No sauces? Just a bad experience.
In my opinion, just ok. The two times I have been there they only had one waitress… for the whole place, which is over 15-20 tables. That said, she works very hard and has a positive attitude. For the price (cali philly roll $10), the sushi is pretty good also. Not the best I’ve had, not the worst. Lastly, it’s been a bit musty in the restaurant the last two times I was there. Not unbearable but a little off putting. Solid C+
We used to eat at Sekai a lot, but with in the last few years it hasn't been very good, food sizes are smaller and doesn't taste as fresh.
My 11 year old daughter and I love sushi and are thrilled to find Sekai Sushi just around the corner! We had the Cherry Blossom roll, Philly Cheese roll, cucumber roll, edamame, rice, and miso soup. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy and we will definitely be back!!Kid-friendliness: The cucumber roll is just that, cucumber! My kido loved it! Had her leftovers for school lunch the next day. Had her first miso soup with tofu and she loved that too. She can't get over the atmosphere and the flavors of the food. She already wants to go back!
The sushi here is very very good. Authentic and fresh. The rice is special. I did not order any rolls, however, I can’t imagine they would be any less fresh or delicious. I am very impressed and would definitely return if in the area. Merci!
