"The only restaurant that had room for the evening in the region. Super service, delicious food, great ambience and the view beautiful. Children and dog friendly. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back next time!"

"We stopped here for a comfort break whilst on our way to Bregenz on a day trip by coach. Having fifty or so guests descend at the same time did not cause any issues, but we had pre-booked. The coffee was the strongest I have...ever tasted and the accompaning glass of water was most welcome. The toliets inside were clean and fresh. The dining room was much larger than I immagined. To the side of the Gasthof there is a lovely small (tiny would be better) chapel. To the rear is a childrens play area and some nice gardens."

"The menu doesn't sound bad, but what we got was very poor and priced. the soup was liquid as water and tasted after nothing, the salad with garnels for 15 € consisted of a sweetly dressed 08-15 salad with 3 small garnels and the gnocchi for 15 € were also at most average. that lick is an expensive patch, we are aware, but nobody likes to be zoomed."

"I visit the Cafe Gerlach every time I come to Oberstdorf and have never had a single disappointment. Whether you choose to try from the wide selection of cakes or have a full meal at the restaurant, you will have a great time! I can...personally recommend the Germknödel and the Flammkuchen.
