"We celebrated a couple of birthdays a last month. A very warm welcome and friendly staff. The entire team were extremely attentive and helpful with drink selections and all had a great sense of humor. Food drinks: The menu had some nice selections of fish and steak. The menu changes frequently, but some delicious starters Nice selections of wine. Our taxi was running late and the staff offed the entire group a complementary drink while we waited. That was a nice touch and very appreciated. Not overly priced and reasonable priced wine list."

"I live in England so only get the chance to visit this restaurant each year around Christmas time unfortunately.Been coming back for years now and it’s simply amazing the food is delicious and the staff are great.The best king prawn vindaloo about and REAL...king prawns that put other restaurants to shame.All in all a very happy family who will always visit."

"Horrendous and very disappointing experience had by all 8 of our party. Took 1.5 hours to get our starters and then a further hour for our mains, even though the restaurant wasn’t that busy. 1 out of the 8 starters came out 10 minutes before everyone else’s and no cutlery was brought out for the soup. Staff were basically non existent, we had to wait ages to find someone to get cutlery, more drinks, etc. I would also strongly recommend people with allergies DO NOT go here. The kitchen staff do not take it seriously, and although it was all over the order that 1 of us had coeliac disease, the food was still brought out containing gluten and some of the plate eaten before realising. Once making staff aware, the kitchen scraped the half eaten food off the gluten containing bread and onto a new plate..obviously still containing gluten! Disgusting attitude towards a serious allergy. £80 deposit was also not taken off our bill at the end. Owner was informed but failed to respond. Unsurprisingly, all 8 of us would never return."

"Great choice and great value for money. We had a selection of food and all arrived at the table quickly. Jacket potatoes were excellent value, large portion with loads of toppings. I had a bacon and mushroom baguette, it was full of bacon and mushrooms, very tasty. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean and tidy."

"Recently refurbished and Rebranded as Fire Fork promising a a traditional American barbecue experience . No Bread available before Starters. Pork Burnt Ends Mixture of under and over cooked chunks of pork in a sickly sweet, slightly spicy smoked sauce. Need something acidic to cut through all the fat came with Texas Toast , Stale slice of bloomer spread with an unidentifiable substance. Beef Cigars Lovely shredded beef in a crispy pancake style roll with a rich, smoked Garlic Mayo. Mains XL Short Ribs not available so both ordered the 10 Hour Smoked Brisket. Served as described on menu. No discernable smoked crust or flavour to the Brisket. No mustard available at this restaurant. No Napkins provided, asked twice, got some from another table. we dealt with our cutlery shortage similarly. No water provided when requested. Inexperience of the staff evident but more than made up for by their enthusiasm and wish to please. Two Starters, Two Mains, Three pints and a Short Mixer £92. Option to add tip to card payment. Cash tip direct to server. This place has lots of potential but needs to overcome teething problems before one will consider a return"
