"I was rather excited to go here as the vegan big breakfast looked like a really yummy option after checking out the menu online, and as we arrived there was a line up down the street! This only made me more excited, busy means good...right? Wrong. After a 45 minute wait, which I didn't mind, it was busy I understand, the pumpkin was raw and freezing cold, the tomato was barely warm on the outside and stone cold in the middle, the avocado was too firm to serve, and the beetroot relish was not relish and in fact just shredded beetroot. This was a disgraceful breakfast at an incredibly unreasonable price. If you offer a vegan breakfast option, at least make it edible. I had to go t McDonald's for hash browns to satisfy my hunger. Very disappointing. Coffee was bitter and soy milk was burnt. As a barista and coffee shop employee myself, I will not be returning to this cafe"

"Need to book - this restaurant was our 3rd option after the other 2 were already booked out. Went on a Saturday night and were not disappointed with the food or choice of local wines. Had Pork Belly, Fillet of Beef and Lamb rump - all great. The only thing stopping 5 stars was the service which was only above average. Seems hard for Mudgee to get staff to match the chef's ability. Would recommend."
