"We were expecting a diner when we stopped for a bite to eat. To our surprise it was a cross between mid range to fine dining. I had the mussels in a white wine cream sauce and my husband had a seafood meal. We saw amazing plates Philly cheese steak sandwiches and fish and chips. All were amazing. People a different tables were taking pictures of their plates of food. Honestly, so worth the stop."

"Adorably decorated little cafe near Cape Breton Highlands National Park, w plant milk options (oat and almond) for their drinks and a vegan vegetable sandwich. They also sell certified vegan ciders, locally brewed on Cape Breton Island. Definitely come here if you love local foods: most of their food products and produce are from Cape Breton. "The BEST meal we’ve had on our east coast road trip! We were a group of 21 and this restaurant was able to seat us in their dining room with no problem. Service was fantastic and we felt so at home! The food was delicious, huge portions and definitely worth the price. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Ingonish, Nova Scotia!"

"Good ice cream. Proportions are big. They have quite a few selections of Nestle Ice cream. No chocolate on the day we visited so we had to do with the Triple Brownie Chocolate. A good place for some ice cream."
