Came here for a birthday and they were fabulous. The service was great- accommodating and welcoming. We shared the calamari which was delicious. I really liked the broth that it was in. I tried a bite of the burrata appetizer. YUM!!!!! That burrata was amazing!!!! For my entree, I had the spaghetti nero and clams. The noodles are made with squid ink so it is black. Agostino has some pretty good pizza. It's not the best of all time, but it will not leave you with a void on an old favorite. I need to try more of menu, so on that I cannot review. But if you desire mom and pop style, delicious option.
If you love good hot inexpensive food with a touch of homestyle Italian flair, this is the place to be. The portions are awesome, the soups are homemade daily and because it is family owned there is a little piece of love shared in each dish. Don't miss out on this little secret in the heart of the Brookside Shopping Center! You will not be disappointed :
The pizza was good not too pricey. Had the wings, fried plantains and sugarcane juice. Everything was delicious!
Great food and friendly service. Will definitely be back next time in Newark
Stopped in for lunch after meeting the new owner on a First Friday event in town. Mickey is exceptionally friendly, enthusiastic and has big plans for the restaurant, including karaoke night, music on Sunday evenings and a rotating-theme buffet on Sundays. As his staff come from different cultures, it's something that he's capable of doing well. Mickey has an extensive background in the food industry, including 25 years of managing nearly 100 Taco Bell stores, so is well versed in food. Our pizza was tasty, and they offer an extensive menu. We're looking forward to trying Indian food on a Sunday buffet.
