"We turned up at 8pm no booking on an extremely busy Friday evening . No problem they found a spot for us. The food was AMAZING!!! We had a set menu tapas the San Sebastián . Huge portions, beautifully presented, incredibly fresh produce all served by friendly, staff. We also tried the beer from Peru outstanding. This is the standout gem in the Newcastle food scene. "Had dinner with my husband and two adult kids on Friday night. Absolutely loved it. Great friendly service, a super menu and excellent drink offerings. We all loved our meals. Its highly recommended and, we thought, really good value. We did stay at the hotel a number of years ago and can recommend that too. Excellent place, very well run."

"Popped in to Momo's for coffee and a snack... beautiful cafe with extremely high ceilings, lovely decor and seating with lots of sunlight shining through the large windows. The coffee was delicious as was the fruit toast - organic cranberry fig & raisin. Hubby said the cinnamon scroll was scrummy too! Great service. Street parking near by."

"Visited on Sunday, I will never return and I will be passing on this feedback to any family or friends considering visiting. We arrived and were seated quickly, we ordered our coffee and food. Coffee arrived, it was bitter and overly strong despite asking for...half strength and confirming with the staff that we had received half strength. They kindly remade the coffee however unfortunately it came out and was full off foam, we didn’t bother to ask them to remake it again. We ordered our food, it was very quiet, we asked for the Nasi Goreng with no chilli and eggs. We waited minutes before the waitress who took our order asked “you’ve ordered yeah” and I said yes, was a little concerned at this point. All of the tables around us received food despite coming in after us. After minutes the waitress came back over to tell us the nasi goreng couldn’t be made without chilli, they had just started our docket now after minutes. We eventually got our food almost an hour later. All the tables that had come in after us had all eaten and left by the time we got our food. Whilst the food was tasty charging for one thin slice of halloumi is a joke (see picture). The staff didn’t seem to care, to shy to open their mouths, no one admitted to losing the docket they just shrugged their shoulders when we asked where our food was. As I went to leave I went to drink some water and my “clean” cup was putrid (see photo). I am so so so disappointed and angry that I waisted my money on this crap. I will say when we went to pay the lady that appeared to be the manager was very lovely and apologetic and took all the feedback on board. She did give us our coffees for free. It would have just been better if the waitress had owned up to forgetting our docket."
