Took my son here last week for dinner. We both ordered cheeseburgers, fries and gravy and we each had a Coke. The burgers were very tasty, but not quite hot enough (the cheese wasn't melted). The fries were crispy and hot, very nice. Gravy was okay, nothing special. The service was quick and friendly. For the two of us, including a 15% tip, the bill was only about $25.00. The Haida-Way is a restaurant that is just off the highway near the intersection going downtown Chemainus. It is a family place that serves good old dishes like hot turkey and veal cutlet meals.
