Having recently moved to the area and read the reviews we had been looking forward to our inaugural visit to The Trooper. We had booked a table for dinner and whilst the food was ok the service was very poor. No effort was made to ask if everything was ok , or when we came to pay to ask if we enjoyed our meal .... it seemed that the owners were only interested in looking after the 'locals ' or maybe our faces didn 't... When the weather conditions is nice you can also have something outside, and there is a eating area with chairs/tables. A counter with bar stools invites you to linger, and for the littlest guests, there is a baby high chair.
