We were going to a party nearby and opted to stay over at The Bull, for a Village Pub with rooms, it is very clean and comfortable with ample parking. The staff in the pub were warm and welcoming, the “on site chip shop” meant we could have a quick bite before heading to the party and they kindly ordered a cab and provided the number to contact for the cab back. What hilltc doesn't like about The Bull:
The location is very good for access around the area but I regret to say the accommodation was a bit basic. In fact it reminds me of some less desirable Motels that I have experienced in the USA in fairness to the pub/motel they did say they were going through a refurbishment programme but they clearly had not reach my room.
