visit the mulberry and the same good food and good service at a good price. four different meals ordered and all 4 came in good time and piping hot. huge selection of dishes to be ashamed of some other local restaurants. vegan and. gf are for. that is now a must for us when visiting the opposite. What User doesn't like about The Mulberry Tearoom:
On arrival, shown to only few table which was been cleared, sat down expecting table to be wiped but wasn’t and later had to ask to be wiped… Meanwhile table next door left and was cleared, spilt food was wiped using previous customers used napkins,...but no attempt to then sanitise table before next customer, have since read other reviews and similar seems to be common practice… Full English was OK, although fried b... The menu offers a great selection for various tastes, but the tables were not properly cleaned from the previous guests. The person in charge of the front of house could use some charm school lessons. The COVID measures seemed lacking. However, the food was delicious.
I visited this restaurant Sunday. For Medical reasons I can no longer eat meat. Their 'normal ' menu had eighteen choices, plus roast dinners on offer: which is fantastic. There was a fish menu with plenty of choice: but the thing that impressed me the most was a FOURTEEN choice vegetarian menu. This is an area of the menu that is generally given just a token thought. All credit to this restaurant for the amazing choice. The food was delicious and everything was piping hot. My friends ate roast and I ate from the veggie menu. The service was swift but certainly not rushed, staff were friendly, helpful and very polite. I would suggest booking to ensure a table.
Found this little gem today, on our visit to Sheringham, we sat outside at first, but the owner came out and invited us and our well behaved dog inside in the warm, my husband ordered the homemade steak Kidney pie, it was the best he'd ever tasted. I had the pork stir fry, which was absolutely delicious. I love stir fry, and this ticked all the boxes. If you visit Sheringham visit This cafe, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
So impressed with the service for coffee that we returned a while later for lunch. Big plus was the fact they welcome well behaved dogs inside the restaurant.
I have tried all the cafes and tea rooms in sheringham for breakfast over the past year and this is by far and away the best. Don’t go to Roy Boys as it’s over rated and over priced. Mulberry is the best. They accept all types even the workers!
