"We called in after seeing a sign on the road advertising live an hour away) met by a very unfriendly blonde lady who said she could fit us in on her last table as we hadn’t booked then gave another table to another couple who were walk ins) she talked to us like we were stupid as we didn’t know what was going on in nearby Sheringham, how would we? I was just about to walk out when her tone softened slightly. Wish we had left, hubbys pork was fine but my lamb was raw and I do mean raw, when I said it was inedible she said she would get me better slices from the kitchen. They arrived WORSE then the original there was actually blood on the plate! I couldn’t eat the meat and when I asked could the bill be adjusted to this she was more than happy to comply by now there were other diners sitting near us) she knocked off the bill both our alcoholic drinks As we left she said hope you will come again …….NEVER"

"We are a picky family especially when it comes to Chinese food so expectations were low. The food here was lush. Fresh noodles, chicken and delicious sauce (possibly a touch mild but everyone likes something different)."

"We booked at table at tge Chequers Lovely looking pub from outside Bar Service was good But pint was off, end of barrel it was promptly replaced these things happen We ordered a Burger and Lasagne Burger was OK the chips with it excellent Lasagne was dried up abd unedible there have been other reviews about this In short a disappointing experience There are other better pubs in the area They need a new chef"

"Lots of coffee shops were closed the day I visited because of terrible weather, so I thought I would have to accept going to Costa instead of an independent place. But as I walked towards Costa, Camellia Cottage appeared into sight like a little pink beacon! Enjoyed a lovely orange hot chocolate and caramel shortbread to warm me up out of the rain. Great service and a lovely vibe. Thank you!"

"There were staffing problems on the day we went a couple of complaints which have now been dealt with .I must say the wine was well chilled and the place was very clean .we will give another go in the near future"
