"Stayed here for 1 night on our way to Austria. There was a group of 7 of us. We all enjoyed the hotel, evening meal, breakfast and the drinks. The staff were all really helpful and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable. If we are travelling this way again, we will definitely be looking to stay here again!"

"The hotel looks good. Unfortunately, when we sat on the terrace and asked if they could have in the kitchen lime for our drinks, the old waitress tipped out and insulted me. she even said she'll hit me if I don't stop asking. Unfortunately, the frustration of this woman leads to unsatisfactory guests, and I myself am in the hospitality industry, but that is absolutely unacceptable and rude! to the conclusion when they are looking on the way through and after food, 3km further down the street is restaurant baschi only on the road. super nice personal and amazing eat and drinklist! I'm sorry to say, but avoid this place. At least we never come back here!"

"I've eaten here quite a few times, alone, with friends, family, and clients, everyone has always left impressed and happy. There are multi course tasting menus, local specialties, and my favorite, the burger, all made with local ingredients and presented and served with great care...at prices that are very reasonable by Swiss standards. The family that runs the hotel is very friendly, knowledgeable about wine, and always willing to offer tips about things to do and see in the the stunning Hasli valley. It's the perfect base camp for outdoor fans, be it hiking or mountain biking, (In my case skiing in the winter and hiking and fly fishing in the summer) and the proximity to some of Switzerland's most famous alpine passes make it popular among motorcyclists as well."
