We ate here one night white staying at The Barn campsite. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and fun. The menu is quite limited a few curries, casseroles, pies and fish dishes but we had a very tasty meal. We shared a starter, had 2 mains and 2 desserts plus a beer, a large glass of wine and 2 coffees, and the bill was £58 which we thought was very reasonable. The staff were very nice, but the ale pie and trimmings were not good value or tasty, the meal tasted and looked like it was all done in a microwave tasteless and bland, such a shame when other dishes get a good write up. read more.
