we drove back and forth from Sapporo only for this sushi lunch, 100% worth ! classic setting, a sushi chef was assigned for each group of customers. the ingredients were very fresh, very good quality, the sashimi, the sushi, and the rice were just perfect; the squid sashimi was my best favourite. as tourists we sat at the counter from the direction of the entrance, and local Japanese they sat deep into the restaurant... Unfriendly staff. Limited English. Manager wasn’t helpful at all. Shepherds patrons around the venue. You’re forced to wait on site without service for your table. Sushi was decent and reasonably priced. Credit though for one of the few establishments around the area to entertain non-Japanese patrons. We were turned away by most sushi restaurants.
