"Just finished and enjoyed The Summer Dress wrap and a Substute Teacher salad (half salad for $3,49). Both were quite delicious and very generous portions. You can taste the freshness with every bite. There is a fun school theme in both the decor and menu...but nothing juvenile about the quality and creativity of the food. I will be definitely work down the list over the next few months."

"Celebrated our 30th anniversary there with friends and family before a concert. Owners and staff were very receptive to our needs and worked well with us to enjoy our visit. The wine was great, the food was better. If down in the Market, we highly recommend!!"

"As someone who never had a falafel, admittedly I don't have much to compare how Chickpeas version compares to others.I will say though that I really like the falafel wraps that I've had here and everyone I've brought here for lunch has also liked what they had. Their hummus is also very good and they are the only place that seems to do it the way they do it (their hummus is very, very thick).Prices seem more than fair (about $7 for a falafel wrap which always seems to fill me up,) and you can make it a meal for a few dollars more and they'll add a side dish of hummus plus some pita bread for the hummus.Seating is a bit limited on the inside with maybe 6-8 tables so be warned that during lunch you may not find a place.Service isn't super fast but I think that is because everything is made to order.As they are located in Trainyards, parking is ample though during lunch you may not get a spot in the lot right out front.All in all, Chickpeas is now one of my top places to go for a lunch treat in the eastern part of town. Definitely recommended."

"My family loves Colonnade Pizza. We were thrilled when a location opened on Merivale and were even more excited when the Carling location opened. The food is so great here! The serving staff treat you like you're family in a Brooklyn sense don't expect fawning, you'll get a warm welcome and everything you need. I think they switched their Gluten Free recipe/supplier because it's excellent (I wasn't too fond of it when I had it last year)! My only two complaints is that the immediate parking lot is so small with only one handicap spot and not a lot of room to drop people off at the door with all the comings and goings at the coffee shop. I also wish that they would partner with a deliver service so that I could get delivery!"

"Me and my friends/coworkers have been coming here about twice a week on average since they soft opened. I can't get enough of the shrimp and crab salad. I personally prefer the poké bowl style, but the burritos are great too! The friendly staff are always helpful and quick on their feet. The atmosphere is awesome too. Love it!"
