"Our first visit to Bistro Ristoro. The menu is very interesting and we chose the Halloumi salad to share, as well as individual pizzas. We really enjoyed the food and service was excellent. The only downside was a group of 7 (5 adults and 2 children, one of whom yelled or screamed almost the whole time they were there) who sat right beside us (we sat inside as the patio was busy...we were the only couple inside the restaurant until this group arrived). If the food and service hadn't been so good..."

"Stopped in to buy some sandwiches for a flight back to Vancouver. The place looks like a house and is stuffed full of deli things. The lineup was long, but not as long as we had expected as our local said sometimes the line is...out the door. You pick your bun then give it to the sandwich makers with your order by sandwich number. You can ask for your sandwich to be customized with less of this, some of that, and more of that (Billy Connolly rant anyone re toppings. Sandwiches are FULL of meat, cheese etc. And weigh a ton, but only cost around In Vancouver a similar sandwich from a deli could cost upward of My only criticism is that the sandwich can be dry unless you ask for mayo or mustard or one of the oils they can add. All in all a great spot for a hearty sandwich, freshly made with great ingredients."

"Perfection. From the moment we walked in the door, all our troubles drifted away. A girl friend and I just wanted to have a girls day without husband's or kids. The atmosphere, the vibe, the lighting and style were amazing.There was not a single thing we didn't enjoy. But please please pleaselet me tell you about the scones.We said multiple times, they were by far the best thing we've ever eaten. Served warm with jam and whipped cream, but honestly, we preferred them plain. Buttery, lightly sweetened, crumbly. The closest I could compare would be shortbread cookies but so much better. We even got extras to bring home as we were to full to enjoy another there. The classic tea is just incredible. I highly recommend.We will absolutely be back and very soon. I'm already dreaming of another scone"
