"Great experience! Friendly waiter, very comfortable space. Simple but really tasty food which is rarity in Ottawa). They use fresh and good quality ingredients. The only one thing-you should wait a bit more , but worth it. It’s better to wait and eat a good meal than having heartburn after the garbage that is often fed in Ottawa restaurants. We were 5 adults and 2 kids who totally satisfied with the meal!"

"There were 9 of us celebrating a friends house purchase in Hintonburg, wanting to finish off the evening with a good meal at a local eatery and Meat & Press delivered, tenfold! From the house made charcuterie platters, with the best blood pudding I have ever tasted, to the satisfying mains- I can't say enough good things about the food. We enjoyed boeuf bourguignon- served in a pot with a wonderful twist, Whole baked Walleye stuffed with chorizo- offering a smoked flavour to a perfect cooked pickerel, 'pressed' lamb that was moist and delicious and a foie gras mousse with raspberry coulis that was heavenly! Their specialty is meats of all kinds and their menu changes almost daily- but I wouldn't hesitate going back. And yes, there are locally sourced veg sides, also well done in presentation and taste. Note: it's tiny- we filled half the restaurant and the wine selection is very small, but well chosen. This is a great spot to check out!"

"The best in the Palace chain yet! Spacious, clean and bright. I liked how there are different table arrangements to suit the different size groups. Got a mixed platter and it was delicious. "Love this place! Friends and I have come here twice and both times it was an amazing experience.The bartenders had great mixed drinks and were hilarious. They were joking around and everyone had great times.
