Wonderful self-paced tour of Haleakala and the city of Makawao! Our guide Rocco grew up in Makawao and had all the tips for the best places to visit and his knowledge of the island and its history was impeccable. We really enjoyed being able to go at our own pace without being tailed by a van and then getting about an hour to explore the town on our own.
