"We were looking for late lunch after a drive up to Haleakala and saw the reviews for My Thai. Although it is unusual in concept, once we were seated and the host explained the process, it was a fun adventure. The menu and all dishes ordered were amazing. Do not miss the orange chicken bao bun. We ordered a wide variety of dishes and all of them were excellent. Our only quibble is with an online menu accessed on our iPhones by QR code. Although we have eaten in restaurants with the same process-and honestly do not like it- this one was a little better designed but didn’t download in the same way on all our phones so we had some trouble putting together an order for three people. with disparate displays). Once that was successfully done, one’s meal is announced on mic and left on a counter for the customer to pick up. All plates are prepared as for takeout so paper containers, paper towels for napkin, etc. Overall, it’s takeout that must be ordered onsite. Tables are spaced far apart, in an open garage so very Covid compliant. So; novel concept with an amazing menu and food."

"This place was awesome! The lady was very helpful. I got the Fresh Fish Tacos. They were really good. We had to try the bread pudding and was impressed. Now the mambo fries were bomb! I would get those for sure. The waitress was really helpful in providing us recommendations for us to do. All in all a great experience! I would recommend this place highly to a friend!"

"We as a family really enjoy a good pizza. We were not disappointed by the recommendation from a cruise ship officer to try this local pizza establishment while visiting Paia near Maui, HI. The pizza you see here pictured is Joe's Heart and was awesome with the house made fresh herb topping! Wonderful brick oven taste, and just be mindful there may be a 15-20 minute wait because they have a great reputation there. Park off stree if you can as the main road parking creates a challenge and is usually full. Convenient wood log waiting benches on the outside of the restaurant for your convenience while waiting to be texted when your table is ready!"
