Good food, small place... not to bad of prices,... try it out. I don't think you would be dissappointed :) Fish & chips is good.

Great food, dated interior but who cares the food was awesome, gravy comes in a gravy boat. Reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly!

"Love this place. The server was so nice and welcoming, ask for their recommendation, they wont steer you wrong. The food is top notch. Pork belly is spot on, the sizzling Sisig is great, and the best spring rolls on the island. Clean and bright space. A new favourite and must stop for us when we are in St. John's."

In Pizza House in Paradise, they prepare crispy pizza using a time-honored method, served straight out of the oven.

"This place was highly recommended to us to visit, as a vegan family visiting from Ontario. The owner was so friendly, offered soup, beautiful home made sauces, fruit for my children, warming tea from Thailand all free of charge. The owner explained all of the dishes to us along with his recommendations. The portions are very generous, 4 of us shared 3 entrees. He also provided us with some recommendations on attractions and places to visit while we are here. We can not wait to return to St Johns to visit again."

"So, sandwiches are great. BUT. Their ordering strictures. When you order online and indicated “cancel” if there is no particular bread, you won’t get a notification of cancelled or a call. You just drive there (25 minutes away for me) just for them to tell me they don’t have it. This happened twice in past 3 months. Next time I’ll ask for reimbursement for gas? Really, a cancel and automatic email isn’t much to ask for to save me the trip (which I educated to do, and you do get an email when cancelled, which would save me a trip in)"

"We had a very long wait. But I absolutely do not fault the restaurant. It is a small place and it was a Saturday night in downtown St John?s. One service person and she was kind, sweet and a star. There are two guys in the kitchen on food and dishes. All in all we waited to get in but the wait for food was not too bad. First the sides. The tempura was acceptable. Pretty good. Not crispy though. But good flavor, your oil needs to be a bit hotter and try adding a little oil to the batter. The gyoza wasgood. Could have a little more green onion in the inside, but you cook them properly. Pan fried. Crispy bottom and soft top. This is the first time in the last 9 years I have seen this. We live in the states, have done for the past 9 years and all gyozaare frozen factory ones and then deep fried. These were so much better. Not so traditional however, but they are your gyoza andthey are very good. All three ?ramen? we tried were very good. Presentation, toppings, and the soups were all good. The porkwas strange but not bad. If you are expecting chashu it isn?t. It is pork. But they are not advertising chashu. Of the three theTantanmen was best. The soup was really good. Not the best I have had but really good. There are sooo many different variationsof ramen in Japan. It is an art and every chef has his own variation. For those who have opinions on the flavor or the saltinessor whatever, again this is the chefs choice. There is no ?correct?. I have two points of disappointment here. And they are big.Ramen should he served piping nuclear hot. This like all other ramen we have had in North America was kinda hot. But not hotenough. Hotter than warm but not like a Japanese ramen shop hot. But I do not fault the restaurant for this. North America islitigious about these things and if you wanted to serve the ramen like in Japan you would need all your guests to sign a wavier. So I get it. I don?t deduct anything for this. Just expressing myself. I have lost so muc"
