"Lisa and Dave are so inviting that you could easily bask in their cosy, warm and friendly surroundings all day long. They truly create a very special place, somewhere that stays in your mind and sticks to your heart. Their food is fantastic. I find a small savoury selection is a true sign of a confident master chef. The patties are the very best I’ve tasted, the cheesey scone was delicious and the soup was packed with flavour! The cake selection is phenomenal even if you are full, take a mini selection of treats or a slice of cake home otherwise you will regret it! I fondly dream of a pattie, a good ol’mug of tea, whilst soaking up the warmth of love and soft reggae music that exudes from The Loft."

"Had a very nice breakfast here with colleagues on the way to a funeral. The food was beautifully done and the waitress was very helpful (not sure if her name but I think she had a South African accent). Lovely surroundings and cute tea cosy on the teapots!"

"Lovely atmosphere on a Friday night. Not to busy but enough to create a nice buzz. Service was excellent by our waitress but unfortunately didn't get her name! Menu is not extensive but enough to leave you still deciding what to have, beef carpaccio starter, carbonara and white chocolate parfait were all excellent. Meals were not huge, but actually had room for dessert and felt full but still comfortable afterwards. Overall good value for money. Well done Rosie the team"

"Perfect small tea room! a table for 7 booked, including small child on bank holiday Monday and the staff could not have been more helpful. scones and cakes are amazing and beautiful sandwiches for small. my daughter loved her huge milkshake and we enjoyed a delicious cup of loose leaf tea. will be returning"

"Midweek lunch, so not many there, therefore lacking in atmosphere. Food was disappointing, not dressed up at all. Small plate of skewered prawns (small prawns) and only slightly warm, garlic mayonnaise (couldn't taste garlic at), half a grilled lime which was hotter than the prawns. A side dish of truffle parmesan fries although I could see some shavings, I could not taste anything but the fries. Deconstructed blackberry cheesecake nice.
