"My partner and I came here to celebrate my birthday. I was confused and disappointed by the experience to be honest. The interior is a clash of design styles there’s a tween bedroom style mural on the wall, upmarket modern style glasses and tableware, with shabby chic water pitchers and tables. The menu can’t be viewed before you go and was short and didn’t cater to all types. For example there were two dishes (out of 4 options) with pork. The plating was nice and the food was well presented. The veggie option was basically a veggie sausage roll with a stem of broccoli. It tasted so bland. My partner had the pork and said it was good. I wouldn’t go back."

"Had a delicious Sunday pub roast here which hit the spot after a long day of walking. Great beer and cider selection and friendly service, all at a reasonable price. One of the best meals to be had in Falmouth and would recommend to anyone passing through."

"This is a tiny, informal place that does home cooked food, well. It's so much better than bigger places serving warmed over bought-in stuff from food service companies like Brakes. We had pan-fried sardines with Romesco sauce, hand cut chips and salad. Local, seasonal, made with care. They also do a range of home made cakes which we didn't try but which looked the business. Simple, good quality, and very much recommended."

"This is our 2nd time to Toast and again we wasn't disappointed! We were the first people in, which we had to book the day before and it was the last booking available. So hence the photo shows an empty restaurant. But with in half hour the place had filled up! We shared all our tapas dishes and my goodness each 1 tasted amazing! Just the right size to share for 2! "Nigel Tabb’s Sunday roasts are always special but this menu was particularly good. We only have beef as a rare treat, so, when we do have it, it has to be good. Today’s short rib dish was superb. The accompanying dishes on the menu made for an excellent leisurely lunch. Highly recommended."
