that is a wonderful old fashion pub. eating is excellent and always a lot of it. real ales on tap as well as a good choice of weep. the chickens are one of the best choices on the menu. View all feedback.

Been several times before and it had been very pleasant. This occasion it seems to have dropped their standards; cleanliness wasn’t great in particular the toilets. Food; spring roll was over cooked, batter on the fish (fish and chips) was thick and not fully , also a load of salt on the top of the fish. Staff member came over as flustered as she had forgotten our drinks order. Not sure if I will be back. View all feedback.
