We enjoyed a lovely meal here this afternoon. Excellent service from the young staff in a lovely dining area. Kirkstyle pie and mash was so good (photo probably doesn't do it justice! . After driving from Aberdeen to this hotel we were told they were fully booked and we couldn’t stay in the hotel but we could be put up in the owners friends house nearby. Absolute joke. Nobody contacted us to say this would happen. We were expected to share the house and bathroom.
