"We visited the winery, unfortunately we were too late for lunch : the kitchen had just closed, such a pity. The wine tasting was quite expensive, $15 to try 4 of their wines wasn't much in the glass to try), the wine that we did sample was fabulous. We were given complimentary beetroot dip which was very nice. The venue is stunning with a lovely outdoor area. Given there are a abundance of other wineries in the area, I would say that if I were back in the Barossa I would rather give them a visit then come back to St Hugo."

"It was the first time we had been to El Estanco very nice ambiance, service great, food was ok we thought maybe the pizza needed a bit longer was a bit soggy on the base and patatas Fritas was really just think chips, we are heard to chunky ones with a chilli sauce , more authentic."

"This was our second choice as our first choice was fully booked. Well....so glad!! Every mouthful was perfection in flavour and texture. I had the whiting for entree and beef cheek for main. Flavoursome. Tender. Perfectly cooked. My husband had the dumplings for entree and...pork belly for main. Again perfect!! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the young lady serving us apologies I never asked her name) was an absolute delight."

"We called in most days to pick up supplies for picnic lunches, or to try another kind of delicious bread...my partner became addicted to their pies, and tried most of them..regret he ran out of days to sample them all !Coffee was lovely...as were the cakes that went with them....seems lots of locals meet up there, not just passing trade..always had a lovely buzz...and the staff were delightful ,and very kind and helpful..."
