What Piersilvio Ricci doesn't like about Il Cacciatore Restaurant:
We ordered take away pizza as apparently almost everything is closed Sunday night in Pokolbin! Not many choices of toppings, 5 if I recall correctly. Pizzas were made quickly and fresh, so no complaints there. The base was fantastic and crispy, but the toppings let them down. Way too much cheese, it overpowered everything else. View all feedback. Could not fault Delicious, best Italian in a very long time Fastest service ever Friendly helpful wait staff Just rocked up after a drive after work with no booking and couldn’t be happier Prices slightly more than you would expect for pasta, but hey...when it is that good you don’t mind View all feedback.

read moreIl Cacciatore in Pokolbin offers a takeaway pizza option on Sundays when limited choices are available in the area. While some reviews note there is room for improvement in terms of topping variety and flavor balance, the pizzas are fresh and quickly made, with a fantastic crispy base. The overall Italian cuisine menu receives mixed reviews, with some finding the food average while others enjoy the classic dishes. Attentive staff members and a cozy atmosphere contribute to a pleasant dining experience for many customers. Standout dishes like the seafood stew and Veal Marsala showcase the restaurant's potential for delivering delicious meals. Overall, Il Cacciatore is worth a visit for those looking for a reliable Italian dining option in the Hunter Valley.
