"Went there for a quick. And cheap lunch and we were not disappointed. Car hops comw right to the car. Burgers are fresh and great taste. Onions rings are just the rifbt crunch. 2 people for just under 20 bucks. All done in the old dinner style."

"Had battered cod and grilled salmon. Take out service was quick as the restaurant was full. Salmon was tasty and not 'heavy ' as was grilled. Cod batter was crisp and cooked through, and fish was moist. Chips are good but not crisp. Coleslaw is light but not overly flavourful. Overall a 7 10."

"Confused at this location, it does not seem to offer franchise deals as the rest of the DQ’s across Vancouver island and BC.Strange, when ordering a banana strawberry smoothie through drive through, I am responded with they don’t carry smoothies. Every DQ I’ve ever been to on Vancouver island sells fruit smoothies. Is this just another franchise item not offered at this location or are the staff unaware of their own franchise menu.I think I’ll pass this location up when DQ comes to mind while in Port Alberni"

"Excellent service with smiles.. Amazingly tasty pizza. Had a Boston Royal and a Root Beer, which were absolutely the tastiest pizza and soft drinks I have had in years. Something special happens in that kitchen. :"
