"Absolutely shocking service, mainly from the owner himself, staff treated like a bit of dirt on his shoe, can't stand people who can't treat employees correctly. Owner/head chef never smiles and he's constantly moaning about energy prices and fish prices.. Yes everyone is aware of the cost of living crisis, we are all suffering but god we don't need to hear it from you when we're giving your business a small fortune for a bit of over done fish and 22 chips!"

"Popped in on Saturday just after midday and had a delicious breakfast panini and a great tasting strong decaf coffee. Also had a lush chocolate and cherry cake. Everything I had was of an excellent standard, definitely great quality, excellent preparation and presentation. Come for the delicious food and stay for the great service, smiles and laughter with the genial host. Parking: Free street parking right outside. Kid-friendliness: No Children under the age of 7 and no kids menu. Wheelchair accessibility: All on the ground floor and a wide enough entrance with no steps. "The food is ok, it’s what you’d expect from a chip shop! The service is very poor though, there always seems to be a lengthy wait, even when the place is very quiet. Got to echo the comments of another reviewer, the staff are absolutely...miserable looking... a smile, some sign of being remotely cheerful nope! Customer service skills are non-existent. Wouldn’t hurry back, the food isn’t worth the inevitable wait."
