I almost passed because of the negative reviews. But I have to tell you, I'm glad I didn't leave and went in. I had her Brimstone...

Great! Absolutely impossible. The chicken fingers (although they look good) tasted old oil and were so over boiled my son choked trying to chew a piece...

The first time I ordered the takeover of Pats in the old port, the service was bad I knew how the guy answered the phone. The food was terrible...

"Been here several times in the past and the food never disappoints. The peach salad appetizer was amazing with warmed peppers on top. The Blackberry brown butter tart with dulce de leche ice cream was also superb! Service was a tad slow and the prices have increased, though that's not uncommon across the industry. Still love the open kitchen vibe, bread, wine list and house cocktails. If you are looking for a decadent night out in Portland, ME, this should be your destination"

"Unbelievably delicious. Had the omakase, the wagyu hot pot (which was insane), the tiny whole fried crabs, the snapper head, and a flat unagi avocado roll a delicious cold sake. I only regret not ordering the duck buns...will get them next time. YUM!"
